The Best Year Yet with So Many Amazing People!!! 🫶🏼🤪 Till Next Year!

As the year comes to a close, I find myself completely overwhelmed — not with stress or sadness, but with gratitude. This year wasn’t just another 365 days. It was a whirlwind of laughter, growth, chaos, joy, deep conversations, last-minute plans, and some of the most incredible people I’ve ever known. If I had to sum it up in one sentence: this was the best year yet with so many amazing people!!! 🫶🏼🤪

So, before we jump into a new year filled with even more memories waiting to be made, let’s take a moment to look back, smile, and say, “We really did that.” Here’s to the wild ride that was this year — and the humans who made it unforgettable.

The People Made It Everything

Let’s be real — the year itself had its ups and downs (like any other), but what made it the best were the people. The late-night talks. The spontaneous road trips. The shared playlists. The random memes at 2 a.m. that somehow said everything without saying anything. I was lucky enough to be surrounded by friends, co-workers, family, and total strangers who quickly became my people.

We supported each other through the hard stuff, celebrated the little wins, and never missed an opportunity to turn an ordinary day into an epic memory. From coffee runs that turned into therapy sessions to beach days that turned into heart-to-hearts under the stars — it’s the people that made this year golden.

The Adventures (Planned and Unplanned)

This was the year of yes. Yes to road trips with questionable GPS directions. Yes to last-minute concert tickets. Yes to getting on a plane just because we felt like it. Yes to trying new foods, dancing at random places, crashing weddings (oops), and saying “why not?” more than “what if?”

Some of the best memories came from things that weren’t on the calendar. The best conversations didn’t have a time slot. The best moments were the ones where we forgot to take pictures because we were too in the moment.

Whether it was getting lost in a new city, going off the grid in the mountains, or just sitting in someone’s living room laughing till our stomachs hurt — this year was filled with moments that reminded me how alive we really are when we let go and lean in.

Growth, Glows, and Growing Pains

Not everything was perfect. There were messy days, hard conversations, and times when it felt like I was barely keeping up. But honestly? I wouldn’t trade those moments for anything. They taught me who I am, who I want to be, and who I want beside me while I’m figuring it all out.

I learned how to say no without guilt. How to forgive without expecting anything back. How to show up for people without losing myself. And most of all, I learned that growth is loud, beautiful, and so uncomfortable — but always worth it.

And through it all? My people never left. They cheered me on, called me out, and reminded me that even when I didn’t have it all together, I was never alone. That kind of support? Priceless.

Moments That Made Me

Let me paint a picture of some of the core memories I’ll carry into the new year:

  • Dancing barefoot in the rain with zero shame.
  • Bonfire nights with guitars, bad singing, and perfect vibes.
  • Laughing so hard I cried — multiple times, with multiple people.
  • Seeing friends accomplish huge goals and feeling just as proud as if they were my own.
  • Deep talks that started with “can I tell you something kinda personal?”
  • Comfort food shared at 1 a.m. after a breakdown or a breakthrough.
  • Random strangers turning into lifelong friends because we sat next to each other on a bus, plane, or random event.

None of these were planned. None of them cost a ton of money. But all of them reminded me why life is so worth it when it’s lived with heart, openness, and people who get you.

The Inside Jokes and Unfiltered Moments

What’s life without the weirdness? The unhinged group chats, the TikToks we made but will never post, the ugly selfies we kept sending anyway. The random sound effects that somehow became a language of their own. The “remember that one night?” stories that will live on forever.

These aren’t things you can explain to outsiders. They’re little pockets of magic that only make sense to your people. And those inside jokes? They’re proof that laughter, silliness, and being authentically yourself is what really bonds us.

So to the people who let me be my weirdest, loudest, most unfiltered self — thank you. You made this year so fun, so funny, so freeing. 🤪

Lessons, Love, and Letting Go

Part of what made this year so amazing was learning to let go. Let go of perfection. Let go of expectations. Let go of people and situations that didn’t serve me anymore. That wasn’t always easy — but it was necessary. And through it all, I learned that letting go isn’t about loss, it’s about making space.

This year, I made space for love. Real love. In friendships, in family, in myself. I made space for joy. For rest. For presence. And the more I let go of what didn’t fit, the more beautiful this year became.

So Much Gratitude, It’s Ridiculous

If I could hug every single person who made this year what it was, I would. Some of you were there from the very beginning. Some came in halfway through. Some just popped in for a chapter — but even if it was brief, you left a mark.

To my day-ones and my just-met-yous: thank you. You showed up. You stayed up. You brought snacks when I was sad and memes when I was mad. You reminded me why community matters. Why connection matters. Why people matter.

Till Next Year…

I don’t know what next year will bring, but if it’s anything like this one — with even a fraction of the love, laughter, and energy — I’m already excited. I’ve got a feeling the best is still yet to come.

But for now? I’m going to soak this in. Reflect, rest, recharge. And carry all of you in my heart as we move into the next chapter.

To the best year yet.
To all the amazing people.
To the memories, the mess, and the magic.
Till next year!!! 🫶🏼🤪
